A wonderful quality Bombay silver two handled tray, profusely embossed and repousse decorated with hunting scenes within landscapes. The handles are realistically cast as elephant heads, their trunks holding a flower and scrolls. The tray is typical of Bombay with influences from various regions. The piece is fine quality but unmarked. Approximate weight 55 troy ounces.
The tray is in good order, the plain centre is marked and just needs a clean.
